Description

A poached fowl dish served with fragrant rice and a flavorful dipping sauce.

Ingredients
  • 1 whole chicken
  • 8 cups water
  • 1 tbsp ginger, sliced
  • 3 garlic cloves
  • 2 cups jasmine rice
  • 2 tbsp chicken fat or oil
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • fresh coriander (for garnish)
Instructions
  1. Boil water with ginger and garlic

  2. Then poach chicken till completely cooked.

  3.  Take away and cool.

  4. Heat chicken fats in a pan, add jasmine rice, and toast barely.

  5. Add four cups of the chicken broth to the rice and cook until fluffy.

  6. Slice chicken and serve over the rice, garnished with coriander and soy sauce.
